The first Reina L44 DR flagship house yacht generates excitement at the world’s premier boat show.
Last month, our flagship design, the Reina L44 DR, was unveiled at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. FLIBS, the world’s largest in-water boat show, drew record attendance in 2023, with over 100,000 attendees and more than 1,000 boats on display during the five-day show. In partnership with Luke Brown Yachts, the Reina L44 DR turned heads on the F/G dock, promising all who passed by A Brand New Way of Living On The Water.

Traffic to the Reina L44 DR was lively, drawing heavy interest from attendees, media, and industry professionals alike. The boat drew prospective buyers at more than double the rate of offerings at similar price points. Buyers were drawn to the house yacht’s hybrid design, flexible multi-cabin layout and the quality of the interiors.

“Our clientele demands the finest quality and top value in investment properties, and it’s why we saw so much traffic to the L44 DR this week,” says Jason Dunbar, a yacht broker with Luke Brown. “We heard a lot of comments that the L44 DR would make a great second home, a fabulous vacation home, and a smart rental property. Clients are excited about the prospect of a quality, portable, luxury property with the opportunity to mitigate their tax exposure.”
Reina Live L44 Upper Deck
The Reina L44 DR features a 42’ aluminum catamaran hull and 448’ square feet of interior living space, comprising a foredeck, living area, dining area, full kitchen, 1 bathroom and 2 cabins. The second-story deck is fitted with a BBQ grill area and wet bar, dining area, and lounging space. The Reina L44 DR sleeps seven (total capacity of 12), and is fully Smart Home enabled and CE certified.

The Reina Boats management team expressed excitement with the reception of the first hull debut at FLIBS.
“We are thrilled,” said Hayri Dayi, President of Reina Boats. “This is our first boat in the show and the reaction has been amazing. Our boat is unique – it sits at the intersection of two sectors: the real estate sector and the boat sector – and judging from the reaction, it’s an idea whose time has come. People are looking for freedom and to be home at the same time. They tend to overlook houseboats because of the historical low quality. Our goal was to present a top-quality house yacht to give today’s buyer a better option.”

“We’re very happy. Our goal is to make a comfortable life on the water available to everyone,” says Reina Boats co-founder Emin Günal. “We are creating a whole new way of liveaboard cruising and recreational boating with designs that merge luxury and accessibility. We set out to do all this without compromising on quality.”
